Straightening systems precisely straighten metal workpieces. The may be of bar stock or sheet metal. Many applications place very exacting requirements on the parts with regard to straightening. There are different ways to bring the material to the desired level of straightness. What they all have in common is that great forces are needed. And hydraulics are an excellently way to generate them.
What are we moving?
Hydraulic cylinders in straightening systems either act directly on the component to be straightened, thus bringing it into the desired position, or a complex roller setup must be pressed onto the material to be straightened using hydraulic cylinders.
