Hydraulic cylinders with active cooling
Hydraulic cylinder for high temperature applications
The operational temperature limits of hydraulic cylinders depend on multiple factors. High temperatures can particularly cause problems in connection with seals and the medium processed. We offer solutions for this, too. The service life of such cylinders can be extended significantly through various measures.

Water-cooled hydraulic cylinders
The housing jacket of such cylinders is designed in such a way that a cooling liquid is guided through channels to absorb and dissipate the energy. This is most effective for dissipating radiant heat.

Hydraulic cylinders with bypass cooling
Bypass cylinders have a check valve on the piston that opens in one flow direction, thus causing the medium to flow through the cylinder. The heated hydraulic fluid is guided from the cylinder to the tank, where it can cool down. This is a very effective cooling option without any additional circuitry.
