Hydraulic cylinders with active cooling
Hydraulic cylinder for high temperature applications
The operational temperature limits of hydraulic cylinders depend on multiple factors. High temperatures can particularly cause problems in connection with seals and the medium processed. We offer solutions for this, too. The service life of such cylinders can be extended significantly through various measures.
Cylinder with water cooling
In these cylinders, the jacket of the housing is designed in such a way that a cooling liquid is guided through channels, where it absorbs and dissipates the energy. Above all, radiant heat can be effectively dissipated in this way.
Hydraulic cylinder with bypass cooling
In bypass cylinders, a check valve opens on the piston in one flow direction, which then causes the medium to flow through the cylinder. The heated hydraulic fluid is led out of the cylinder to the tank, where it can then cool down. This is a very effective cooling option without additional circuits.
